Riad Villa Almeria Hotel & Spa

We had an amazing stay at Riad Almeria. It’s a beautiful place with excellent service. Youssef, Fouad, Hassan and Mouadh were so kind and attentive, and went the extra mile. They even organised a surprise birthday cake for us.

Highlights were the rooftop pool, the luxurious room, the other spaces to relax in and the general beauty of the riad. The food is also v nice

The staff had excellent communication skills, showed us around and were very attentive to our needs.

Beautiful Riad. Outside of the Medina but a short walk to get to the centre. The pool was relaxing and the staff were friendly and very welcoming and helpful. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The decor throughout the Riad was beautifully thought out. The breakfast was not included in the price but it was reasonably priced and excellent. I didn’t get to try the Hammam but I did take a peek and it looked great.

Their breakfast was very good. Specially the fresh orange juice they served every morning was very refreshing. the room was decorating nicely.

Friendly staff. Very confortable beds. And nicely decorated and cleaned rooms.
The terrace it’s super nice and the heated pool is very relaxing.
Breakfast is not included but very nice.
The location is in a quiet back street, close enough to walk to the middle of the medina.

Really pretty place, great rooftop with pool and tasty food.
The staff here are so friendly and helpful, they even surprised me with a cake on my birthday, which was so thoughtful and sweet.
The rooms are clean, and the riad feels very safe. It's located in a great area, a nice little walk into the medina, but far enough away to feel peaceful. Highly recommend, and thank you again for making our stay so wonderful!

Came here for some pre-wedding sun. The roof area is perfect for that. Great breakfast every morning, staff all very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor- lovely with air conditioning. Would recommend to anyone and for the price is brilliant.

After two years of waiting to come here, due to COVID, we finally embarked on our trip to Marrakech. Thanks to Easyjet's incompetence we gained another two days! Transport was arranged at the airport by the accommodation and was very professional. We drove through some rather "unaffluent" residential areas before ending up in a small square. Our very helpful and smiley driver lead us along a small rue and we ended up outside a big wooden ancient door. Once inside... Wow! The hospitality, gratitude and information endorsed on us by Younis was second to none! He sat down and had mint tea and local sweets with us. The room was rustic and perfect for us enjoying the Moroccan way of life. The chambermaids were all courteous and always smiling, the boys on reception always available and Hassan was excellent and always full of local information for us. Recommend having breakfast up on the terrace for a couple of days but book as its only 60 Dr's (£5ish) Don't forget a pair of swimshorts for rooftop pool and towels are provided. We shall be returning and enjoying the hospitality here again.... Little side note - enjoy the old Town, no need to venture into the new one as its just the same old city features - high rises, McDonald's... Etc, much more to see and do around Jemaa El Fna and the palaces and gardens along with the obligatory haggling with the locals in the medinas!!!! On the whole wonderful place to stay in an eclectic city of noise, colour and mad mad motorbike riders haha - a must tick box in life.

It was a wonderful experience to spend our 2 days in Marrakech in this sweet riad.
The atmosphere is wonderful, the different guests from different parts of the world was great to get in touch with them.
And honestly what makes the place my go to accommodation if i ever visited Marrakech again is the great hospitality of zakaria and abdulillah, these guys are amazing.

The most beautiful riad, gorgeously decorated and the staff are amazing.
Our room was so lovely and spacious with a very authentic bathroom. The rooms were fully cleaned every day and the staff were so helpful. The rooftop area and pool made this Riad extra special. I would highly recommend anyone stay here if visiting this city.

What a great place. Serenity from all the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Definitely loved it so much that I didn’t even want to go out and explore. The staff was 10/10. Very nice and helpful people. If I ever came back to Morocco, I’d definitely have a stay here.

Great experience at Riad Villa Almeria. Samir was very welcoming and helpful in getting us acclimated to Marrakech. He helped us plan tours, find restaurants, and find our way around the city. The rest of the staff was also very nice and welcoming.

I would say the food was decent and could be improved.

The riad was very clean. The staff were very helpful and accomodating.
The staff also helped us book a taxi and negotiated the price for us as it can be a hassle in marrakesh. There was no kettle in the room however the staff always supplied us with hot water and milk when we needed. The price of the rooms are affordable and although some might complain of the noisy neighbours but thats the case in all riads, and hearing laughter and people socialising is a good thing. Positive energy and happy.

A very nice riad in Marrakech. Very friendly staff and the room and breakfast was nice. The restaurant is quite expensive compared to local eateries. The room was a bit noisey from neighbouring rooms but that seems to be the case with all riads.

Myself, partner and 2 year old daughter spent 10 days in Marrakech at this gorgeous Riad.
It’s only 15 minute walk to Jamaa square with plenty to see along the way.

The staff were beyond helpful and it really felt like a family run business. They adore children and our daughter loved everyone of the staff and would happily run up to them for a cuddle every morning. (She’s usually quiet shy)
The Riad is tucked away in what feels like the locals area
Which is busy but a lot less busy than the square. The Riad itself is a tranquil place to relax after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and it has a pool which was too cold to use in Feb but I can imagine it would be perfect for the summer.

The breakfast provided was lovely with fresh orange juice. They were so attentive and would even set out a plate in the morning for our daughter which was so sweet.
The beds were a little hard and uncomfortable but the rooms are gorgeous and very safe.
One evening we remembered we’d left the safe open as we were out at dinner. A quick email to the staff and they immediately locked it and nothing had been taken.

*The Riad is about 20 minutes from the airport
*The rooms are cleaned daily
*Great for young families
*Lovely breakfast
*Take a few extra jumpers as it’s very cold in the morning & at night.
*If you have time, stay 1 night in Agafay you won’t regret it :)

Had a wonderful stay at Villa Almería on the whole. The rooms are gorgeous, the breakfast plentiful, and the staff are so kind and obliging. The only thing we’d change about the Riad itself was that it played music all the time, and until 10pm - the same music. It was really hard to tolerate trumpets and drum solos as you get to sleep! The airport transfers arranged by the Riad did not turn up both on arrival and departure, and so I would not recommend using this service. This place is easy enough to find without a transfer from the Riad, and any taxi will take you within a peaceful one minute walk. The trip we booked was wonderful but was a group tour - when we booked a private. It turns out everyone on the tour had been told it was private. But overall, a lovely place to spend a few days.

Everything went as planned.
Rooms and halls very clean with beautiful decoration.
The staff is very very nice.
The breakfast is really good and fresh.
Its about 15min to the square, wich is good because is much more quiet at night.
They arranjed everything for us, transfers from and to the airport, taxis and all the tours we made.
Very trustfull.

Quiet and cozy place in the middle of busy Medina. 15 mins of walking from Jamaa el Fna square and Koutobia mosque. I cannot express my appreciation to professional staff who helped me with everything I needed since I was solo female traveler. Comfortable and picturesque place, very clean, with amazing moroccan dishes. I will stay here again definitely! Thank you again for everything!

Our stay at Villa Almería was beyond wonderful. The ambiance of the Riad is a relax and cozy atmosphere. The decor is simple and fresh, I would t change a thing! (And I’m an interior decorator). Aside from the space itself, I would recommend you to stay here because of the amazing people who make you feel like you are at home with friends. Abdul, Medd, Mohamed, and Eunice to name a few where always smiling and making us laugh with their jokes and teaching us how to say various phrases in Arabic and in Berber language. I would definitely stay here again. Everyone who works at this Riad knows what the true meaning of hospitality is. As a hotel owner, I’ve become jaded at times to service, as no one ever comes close to providing an exeptional experience. This Riad met and exceeded all expectations I had. 5 Stars. I promise I’m a real guest! Haha :)

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful oasis. The location is amazing very close to the major attractions and easy to get to.
The riad so beautiful and unique, extremely clean and very peaceful.
The staff are very professional, friendly and they made us feel at home.

The food is marvellous, we dined at the riad every evening and sometimes the whole day. All items on the menu are delicious especially the beldi yogurt and all tagines.

We were also able to purchase beautiful items that were displayed throughout the riad. The rug we purchased was hand made by the berber people which you cannot find in the souks.

Thank you very much for everything, my partner and I will always remember this amazing experience. We will continue to come back for sure.

Everything was perfect, the food, the staff, the amazing terrace. The staff is very friendly, especially Samir, Yassine Younes and Abdo, always attentive. The breakfast is excellent and fresh, made in front of you every morning. And the riad itself is top, beautiful decor, very relaxing. Our stay was more than awesome. definitely we will come back
